Design for Wonderwater at Tian Hai pop-up event and all of it’s materials. The identity was an collaboration with Iina-Karoliina Välilä and Studio Emmi (London).
Wonderwater at Tian Hai pop-up event was held to raise awareness of water footprint and the impact of what we eat. The event took place in a traditional Chinese restaurant Tian Hai in Beijing (in Dashilar area) during the Beijing Design Week from 24 September–2 October 2011.
For the event Tian Hai’s menu was redesigned to show customers how much water goes into producing the ingredients of their dishes.
Wonderwater at Tian Hai was a collaboration of Aalto University and World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 and it was curated by Kari Korkman and Jane Withers. It was one of the first World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 satellite projects and a pilot project for further Wonderwater events.
